Gary Francks and Earl Shilton Liberal Democrats want to ensure that local residents are properly consulted about these plans. Liberal Democrats are still fighting to save Cottons' gardens in Earl Shilton. The Cottons' water gardens off Candle Lane are under immediate threat. Cllr David Bill has raised the issue in the local press and is working with local residents to try to find a solution. In any other town in any other part of the country this environmental gem would have received recognition but it will be lost if it is left to our Labour Councillors. We still hope that something can be done but time is running out.
