A LIB DEM activist has been given a prime-time slot to call on the Government to refund out-of-school Youth Services which have seen massive cuts imposed on them in recent years. Mathew Hulbert, who represented Barwell on Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council until May this year and for four years was the authorities Children and Young People's Champion, is moving a motion on the issue at the national Liberal Democrat Autumn Party Conference in September which is being held in Bournemouth. It'll take place as the last item on the agenda before the high-profile maiden leader's speech by the party's new leader Tim Farron, the MP for Westmorland and Lonsdale. Mr Farron has visited Hinckley and Bosworth on a number of occasions, including when he was Party President and recently during the leadership campaign. Last year Leicestershire County Council announced cuts of £800,000 to Children, Young Peoples and Families services.
