County Councillor submits petition to keep Children's Centre open

A petition collected by parents in Hinckley has been handed in to the County Council.
Parents of children who attend the Hinckley Children and Family Day Centre in Granville Road, Hinckley collected the petition following concerns that it would no longer be open as a Day Centre.
Local Liberal Democrat County Councillor Stuart Bray submitted the parents' petition to the County Council.
Cllr Bray said, "This is a highly valued local facility for people in the Hinckley and Burbage area and I am urging the County Council not to close the day centre element of the building."
